Women's Ministry Update
Life is Better Together! At New Prospect, our Women's Ministry is a place where women of every age and stage of life can build authentic friendships, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and encourage one another through every season of life. Whether we're gathering for a Ladies' Night, opening God's Word together, sharing a meal, or simply laughing around a table, our desire is to create a place where women are known, loved, and encouraged. We believe following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. As part of The WAY, we want every woman to continue taking her next step by Encountering Jesus, Overcoming Together, Growing Deeper, and Serving Others. No matter where you are in your faith journey, there's a place for you here.Sign Up Here 🌸 Ladies' Night: Our monthly Ladies' Night is the heartbeat of our Women's Ministry. Each gathering is a little different. Some months we enjoy dinner together, some months we dive into a Bible study, and other months we simply spend time laughing, encouraging one another, and building friendships. Our hope is simple: To create a welcoming place where women can belong before they believe they have it all together, grow in their faith, and walk through life with one another. Bring a friend, your daughter, your mom, your sister—or come by yourself. We think you'll leave with new friends and a deeper love for Jesus. Volunteer need: God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve. If you have a heart for children, we'd love to help you use those gifts in our Nursery or Children's Church on Sunday mornings. It’s a small investment that can make an eternal difference. Upcoming: We're gathering for Ladies' Night on July 18 at 5:30 PM! Join us for an evening of food, fellowship, laughter, and encouragement as we continue growing together in Christ.

Men's Ministry Update
Brothers in Christ. Men on Mission! Our Men's Ministry exists to help men become more like Jesus by building authentic friendships, growing in God's Word, and serving others together. Once a month we gather at Michael Jay's home to share a meal, encourage one another, spend time in Scripture, and challenge each other to become the men God has called us to be. Every gathering is an opportunity to laugh together, pray together, and take another step on The WAY. We believe men grow best when they have brothers walking beside them—not only around a table, but shoulder to shoulder in service. That's why our ministry isn't just about meeting together; it's about living on mission together. Whether we're serving our church, helping a family in need, or simply encouraging one another through life's challenges, our desire is to Encounter Jesus, Overcome Together, Grow Deeper, and Serve Others. No matter where you are in your journey, there's a place for you at the table. 🔨 Living on Mission One of the ways our men are putting their faith into action is by helping renovate a mobile home that will become a new beginning for a local family who lost their home in a fire. This project is more than construction—it's an opportunity to share the love of Christ in practical ways. As we prepare the property, move the home, and complete the renovations, we're reminded that following Jesus means loving our neighbors with both our words and our hands. If you'd like to join us on an upcoming workday, we'd love to have you. Whether you're experienced with construction or simply willing to lend a hand, there's a place for you to serve. Volunteer need: We're looking for men who will help with the sound system on a rotating basis. Also, anyone willing to help re-home a family in the name of Jesus, please contact Michael Jay or Pastor Topher.Sign Up Here 📅 Men's Ministry – Our men gather once each month for food, fellowship, encouragement, and God's Word. We also schedule service projects throughout the year as opportunities arise. Check back here or follow our social media and calendar for details about our next Men's Gathering or workday. Upcoming: Men’s Gathering at Michael Jay’s on July 25th.

Pastoral Letter
I met God the other night while I was washing my car. I made the mistake of buying a black car. In fact, we have two black cars. It’s not an objective mistake in the sense that black cars are worse than any other colour car by any meaningful metric. The nature of black paint, however, is that it almost never looks clean. Any spot of water, dirt, or pollen (of which there has been plenty lately) seems to be accentuated on a black canvas, and frankly, is a glaring sore to my eye. That’s just me, that’s how I’m wired. You likely don’t care too much if your car is spotless or not and that’s good for you - sincerely, it’s good for you. I’m wired differently though, but thankfully I’m also inclined to enjoy washing my car by hand. So I took a look at the forecast to see how long my labour would be worth, and with nothing but clear skies in sight I set out to wash the car. Our kids were asleep, the evening was clear and cool, it was serene. With supplies in hand I made my move towards the driveway and there was God, waiting to met me. There’s a monkish way of moving through the world called liber mundi - “the world as a book”. It’s a way of living that moves slowly through the created cosmos, with eyes and ears open and attentive to see a story revealed through creation, as if it were a book to read. For us Christians, we believe that the world is the Lord’s, and it is a very reflection of his image. A revelation of sorts. God met me in the driveway in the stillness of being dedicated to one singular task, outside of the office and the home, and in the quiet of the evening. Without any external output or stimulus (and even without my AirPods in my ears plugging up my senses from the world around me), I was able to perceive and receive the peace of God while kneeling in soapy water on the tarmac. I’m not great at this way of living, and I wouldn’t even go as far as suggest that I’m good at it - but I’m trying. I’m trying to see glory in potato flowers and dandelions. I’m hoping to move on my feet and my pedals more often than I do on rubber powered by cylinders. I’m attempting to listen to less information (podcasts, sermons, etc.) and listen more to friends, family, and foes. I’m learning that the world is a book. I want to read it. Grace and peace, Pastor Johnny

Kids LIFE
Helping Kids Encounter Jesus... One Step at a Time. At New Prospect, we believe children aren't just the church of tomorrow—they're an important part of the church today. Kids LIFE is a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can discover who Jesus is, learn God's Word, build lasting friendships, and begin taking their own steps on The WAY. Every lesson, game, song, and activity is designed to help children Encounter Jesus, Overcome Together, Grow Deeper, and Serve Others in ways they can understand and apply. Our greatest hope is that every child leaves knowing this truth: Jesus loves me. Jesus knows me. Jesus wants me to follow Him. Services for Kids! (For kids from Pre-K to 5th Grade) Kids On Worship - Wednesday nights at Buddy Bear Academy @ 6:00PM. Kids’ Church - Sunday mornings immediately following Family Prayer. *Nursery provided for infants-age 2 for duration of Sunday morning service. Parents Matter Most We believe parents are the primary disciple-makers in their children's lives, and we count it a privilege to partner with you. Each Sunday, our Kids LIFE team seeks to reinforce what you're already teaching at home by pointing children to Jesus through biblical teaching, worship, hands-on activities, and loving relationships. Together, we can help the next generation know and follow Jesus. Safety Always Your child's safety is one of our highest priorities. Every Kids LIFE volunteer is carefully screened and trained to provide a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence. We want every child to feel known, loved, and excited to come back. Join the Team Help the next generation Encounter Jesus. We're always looking for people who love Jesus and have a heart for investing in children. If you enjoy teaching, leading small groups, welcoming families, or caring for little ones in the nursery, there's a place for you on our Kids LIFE team. It may seem like a small role, but God often uses small moments to make an eternal difference.Sign Up Here A special thank you to Leia and Misty Argabright who lead the Kids Ministry Team, and who took the vision of New Prospect to heart, started leading the Kids On Worship at Buddy Bear and have been an integral part of helping NPBC be the disciple-making church that it is today! As the people of God returned from exile, God kept His promises, stirred their hearts, and called them to rebuild—but before they rebuilt the Temple, they rebuilt the altar. In this opening message from Ezra, we discover that true rebuilding begins with worship, obedience, and a willingness to respond when God begins stirring our hearts.Subscribe To Our Podcast Community Prayer We carry each other through the spiritual practice of prayer.
